Arches National Park

Delicate Arch
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Delicate Arches is one of Utah’s most Instagrammable spots. That said, you’ll have to fight through some crowds or get up early. No matter what you have to do, the natural beauty of Arches National Park is worth it.

Devils Garden
If you want to get a taste of Arches National Park in one hike, the Devils Garden trail is just the ticket. While not an easy trail, you’ll see some of the best rock formations in the park. If the eight-mile loop sounds like a lot, make a day out of just this hike, and take breaks at each major arch!

Balanced Rock
Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like: a balanced rock. What if we told it was more than 100 feet tall and weighed 3,600 tons though? It may not stay balanced forever though, so take your photos while you can!

Devil’s Garden

You’re not seeing double; there is a campground in the vicinity of Devils Garden trail. Many of these sites are first come, first served, so check ahead for which sites are reservable. Did we mention it’s the only option inside the park? Get there early!

Willow Springs Trail
Located just west of Arches National Park, Willow Springs Trail is your best bet if you can’t get a spot at Devils Garden. Wild, beautiful, and open, this is close to boondocking with a couple of creature comforts. If you got a camper van rental, then you’ll be able to stay in style.

Sand Flats
South of Arches and a bit down US Route 191 are the Sand Flats. The Sand Flats Recreation Area offers six group sites, so your travel van will have ample space to park. This is a popular off-road area with its proximity to Moab, so be aware you may get some noise during the summer season.
