Bryce Canyon National Park

Inspiration Point
Inspiration Point is one of Bryce Canyon’s biggest attractions. Technically, there are three parts to Inspiration Point: lower, middle, and upper. If you take the loop along the Rim Trail, you can see all three in about half a mile. That short loop is great for hikers of all skill levels.

Navajo Loop Trail
This trail packs a number of great photo opportunities in just a mile and a half. With its loop layout, you won’t see the same thing twice, giving you plenty of unique stops along the wall like the Thor’s Hammer and Wall Street rock formations.

Stargazing
If you want to relax in your evenings, there’s nothing better than staring at the stars from your campsite. The Desert Southwest offers some of the best stargazing in the US and Bryce Canyon is a hub for adventurers who don’t stop when the sun goes down.

North Campground

With a triple-digit number of campsites, you’ll be sure to find a campsite that works for you. Make sure to reserve in advance, if possible, though! Half of the available sites are RV only, so your travel van rental will have no problem fitting into your camp spot. Note that no electric hookups are available.

Forest Road 117
If you didn’t already know, you can camp for free off any National Forest Road where it is safe to do so. If you can’t get into a site in Bryce Canyon or just want to save some money, FR 117 is a well-established boondocking option. Make sure you have all the essentials because nothing is provided here.

Sunset Campground
With the same number of campsites as the North Campground, Sunset Campground is a great alternative. Make sure you know whether it’s first come first served or if you need to reserve, as some schedules and requirements change throughout the year. You’ll find 50 RV sites without electrical hookups here. Seasonally, there is a dump station and potable water.
