This gorgeous campground is located up Big Cottonwood Canyon and is incredibly close to world-class hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. They have flush toilets, drinking water, and firepits. There are some sites that are reserved for first come first serve. This campground is located about 45 minutes from our Native office and 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. Solitude Mountain Resort is located an additional 3 miles up the canyon and offers dining, disc golf, and other amenities. It is closed from the end of September to the middle of May.

This urban campground offers all of the amenities that you could ask for including hot showers, flush toilets, a hot tub/pool, and a snack bar. This campground is located less than 10 minutes from the Native office and downtown Salt Lake City. The surrounding area is not the nicest, however, the campground is the perfect spot for a quick night’s stay at the start or end of your trip.
Antelope Island State Park

Antelope Island State Park is a hidden oasis less than 30 minutes away from the Native office. Antelope Island is home to a herd of American Bison and plenty of Antelope. The island also offers beautiful sunset and sunrise views from pretty much anywhere on the island. The State Park has plenty of campsites, many of which are first come first serve. The campgrounds offer pit toilets, showers, and some have electricity at the sites. This is the perfect place to stop on your way back from an adventure up north.
Diamond Fork

Diamond Fork Campground is located in the beautiful Uinta Cache National Forest among beautiful cottonwood forests. The campground is located about an hour and a half south of the Native office and is a perfect stop on your way back from an adventure down in Southern Utah. The campground is located very close to the trailhead for Diamond Fork Hot Springs which is a beautiful hotsprings that is the perfect spot for a nice dip. The campground offers pit toilets, drinking water, fire rings, and picnic tables. It is closed from mid-October through mid-April.
Jordanelle State Park

Jordanelle State Park is home to Jordanelle Reservoir which is an awesome place to enjoy a quick swim or some kayaking. The campground has flush toilets, showers, and drinking water. Jordanelle is also located less than 15 minutes from downtown Park City and about an hour away from the Native office. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails within 15 minutes of the park.
