Glacier Boat Trip
If you’re looking for a different kind of adventure, then you’ll want to check out the boat tours! You can partake in a guided tour or rent a small boat, giving you something outside of the normal camping activities. This is a great option if you want to try something new on your campervan journey.

Horseback Rides
Another great option for the adventurous type is horseback riding. These are guided tours that take you through the park. Nothing beats sightseeing from a horse. Check out the National Park Service website to learn more.

Avalanche Lake
This hike is unique and unlike the other trails in the park. Many of the hikes in Glacier National Park are alpine trails, but this one is a beautiful forest-covered trail. A nice 4.6-mile hike with only 500 feet in elevation gain, this hike is a relaxing tree escape.

Many Glacier Campgrounds
This campsite is on the east side of Glacier National Park and a 22-minute drive from the town of St. Mary. This spot has all the amenities and then some! A great spot for new vanlifers or people who enjoy a more inclusive camping experience.

Avalanche Creek
If you plan on hiking the Avalanche trail, then why not camp right next to it? This is a very popular spot and is a first-come-first-serve campsite so make sure you get there early!
