Roadside Assistance

Access to Roadside Assistance is available for all of customer free of charge. In the event a mechanic/other professional has to be sent out to assist Native Campervans will cover the cost to get you back on the road. Upon the completion of the trip the cost will be passed through with no additional surcharge added.

An accident scene can remain a dangerous place with other vehicles still on the roadways. First off, please make sure you and anyone else involved in the accident are safe and call 911 if needed. Second, per the terms and conditions of your contract, you must please call the police to file a police report. We need this report for our records as we proceed through the accident process. Third, text or call our Roadside Assistance line and we will proceed with our accident process and help determine the best next steps.

Our number one priority in the event of an accident is the safety of you and anyone else involved.

Do not continue to operate the Campervan. Our team is here to help! First, we recommend accessing our campervan concierge to help troubleshoot basic check engine lights. Second, if you are unable to determine the solution reach out to our Customer Experience Team and will help identify and address the check engine light. We understand the inconvenience this causes you during your trip and we will do everything possible to get you back on the road quickly.

You should check the tires before you leave the rental location. We check tires before and after the rental. There are many things from nails, to screws, or other road hazards that can cause tires to lose pressure during your rental. Most of our vans have a spare tire located on undercarriage of the vehicle. In the event of a flat tire customers can either attempt to change the tire themselves using the guide (accessed by scanning the QR code on the passenger dash) or they can call our Emergency Roadside Assistance partner.

These things happen. Send our Customer Experience Team a text along with a photo so we can see the damage. If the damage isn’t too severe, we’ll schedule a repair upon return of the campervan. If you are unable to drive due to the crack, we’ll work with you to get the van repaired so it doesn’t impact your trip.

No worries. Just text our Roadside Assistance line or call our roadside assistance partner and we’ll dispatch a 3rd party provider to help get you back in the van. If you lost the keys, that may be a bit tricker. We’ll have to get you to a preferred dealer to get a replacement set made.

The QR code located on the passenger side dash is the access point into our campervan concierge platform. On the concierge there is a ton of trouble shooting information that will help work through issues that may arise.

Renters are responsible for damages that happen to the Campervan regardless of fault.  This is called a “common law bailment” which means the renter is responsible to return the vehicle to us in the same condition as when you rented it, less ordinary wear and tear.  We maintain our vans to the highest level to help ensure they are always in excellent condition. However, occasionally something will go wrong with our vans that is outside of anyone’s control. Major catastrophes such as tornados, earth quakes, or other “Acts of God” may be covered by your insurance or other purchased insurance options. In situations like those listed in these FAQs, Native Campervans in its discretion may cover costs associated with the event even if not specifically mentioned here.
