Old Faithful
A staple of Yellowstone National Park, the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser must be on your bucket list! It lives up to the name, being one of the most consistent geysers you can count on seeing while you’re in Yosemite, erupting every hour and a half or so.

Grand Prismatic Hot Spring
You’ve probably seen Grand Prismatic Hot Spring in pictures and been blown away. This may be hard to believe, but not even the pictures can do this natural wonder justice! The Grand Prismatic Hot Spring trail itself is just over a mile and a half and good for all skill levels, leading to the largest hot spring in the United States.

Upper Geyser Basin
Upper Geyser Basin doesn’t just hold Old Faithful. Roughly 25% of the entire world’s geysers are found in the Upper Geyser Basin! Morning Glory Pool is a great sight to see, and you’ll likely have fewer visitors around as they’re mainly captivated by Old Faithful.

Madison Campground
Opening in late spring and closing during fall, this campground is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during its season. You’ll be just over 15 miles from Old Faithful, but you’ll have abundant wildflowers next to you if you camp there in spring or early summer. In early fall, you can hear the bull elk in the rut.

Bridge Bay Campground
This campground is only open during summer but features a dump station for your travel van. If you don’t have your own van, take advantage of a camper van rental option and head to Bridge Bay! You’ll be at 7800 feet, near one of the highest freshwater lakes on the continent.

Bakers Hole Campground
Just west of the park itself and north of the Yellowstone airport lies Bakers Hole Campground. This first-come, first-served campground has some RV spots available if you’re coming in a sleeper van. There are 73 total campsites with 33 having electric options. Note that this campground is privately owned and unaffiliated with Yellowstone itself.
