Angels Landing
Get there early! Angels Landing is one of the most popular and well-known hikes in any of the US National Parks. Be aware though, it’s as difficult as it is popular! While the views are stunning, make sure you’re warmed up properly and in a good state to take on this challenge!

The Narrows
Zion holds more than just one popular hiking spot. Hopefully, you have a few days in Zion so you don’t have to do The Narrows and Angels Landing on the same day, or you’ll be overloaded on crowds. Most people will turn around near the first mile, so if you press on to the second mile, you’ll have a bit of space to yourself.

Weeping Rock
This truly lives up to its name. Years of erosion have caused water to flow out of the side of the rock causing the look of “weeping.” Due to a rockslide in August of 2019, this trail is closed until further notice.

Watchman Campground
Of the three campgrounds in Zion National Park, this is the only one open year-round. Near the entrance to the park, just north of Springdale, this is a perfect place to set up camp and enjoy sunrises and sunsets above Zion’s majestic rock formations!

South Campground
It isn’t easy to get a reservation here, so you’ll want to get your spot as far in advance as you can. While not open year-round, this is a prime summer camping spot. If you want to experience the vastness of the desert sky at night, there’s no place more serene than a campsite inside Zion National Park.

Camp Valhalla South Zion
Hey, just because you’re in the great outdoors doesn’t mean you can’t be comfortable! If your idea of the perfect summer Zion trip leans more towards glamping than camping, Camp Valhalla has you covered. Trekking in the desert sun is a little more enjoyable knowing you have a king-sized bed to return to. Note that this is privately run and not affiliated with the National Park Service.
