Cholla Cactus Garden
If you like plants then this is the spot to be. This is a lengthy (12-mile) but a flat stroll through nearly 10 acres of foliage. The walk is surrounded by a plethora of cacti and flowers. This is the perfect place for photographers and nature lovers alike!

Arch Rock Trail
This is an easy out-and-back 1.4-mile hike. On this hike, you get to see some of Joshua Tree’s most iconic rock formations. There are two rocks to look out for, Arch Rock and Heart Rock. There really is nothing like it.

Skull Rock
You thought the cool rock formations stopped there? Well, we have one more to add to your must-see list. Skull rock is a beautiful sight and a great photo opportunity. It’s a moderate 1.7-mile loop to get to the rock and it’s not something you want to miss out on.

Black Rock Campground
This is a larger campsite with 99 spots to pick from. There is a picnic table and fire ring at each spot with restrooms and water nearby. Plus, if you enjoy a little retail therapy there is shopping in the town of Yucca which is only 5 miles away.

Indian Cove Campground
This campsite is a bit more secluded being 13 miles away from Joshua Tree Village. This is a great spot if you want something a bit more off-grid. It doesn’t have many amenities but it does have peace and quiet.

Jumbo Rock Campground
This stunning campground lies between beautiful rock formations. It is a great campsite for families and will get everyone excited about camping. These sites are reservation based so book your spot now!
