Ranger Program
This activity is a great opportunity to learn more about the park. They offer a plethora of programs, from sunset hikes to critter chats to garden walks. If you are someone who loves to learn more about the nature that thrives within the park, this is the activity for you. 

Hiking
Saguaro has beautiful hikes to explore. These are some of the best trails to hike:
Freeman Homestead Trail – 1 mile
Hope Camp and Ridgeview Trail – 2 miles
Garwood Dam and Wildhorse Tank – 6.4 miles 

Explore the Petroglyphs
Petroglyphs, also known as rock art, are stunning rock carvings. These carvings pre-date modern written history and are a unique feature to tour.

Las Vegas –  431 miles
Phoenix – 105 miles

Gilbert Ray Campground
Located just a few miles from the park’s western entrance, this tranquil campground offers spacious sites with stunning desert views. With its peaceful ambiance and proximity to hiking trails, Gilbert Ray Campground provides the perfect base for immersing yourself in the natural wonders of Saguaro National Park.

Reddington Pass Dispersed Camping
This dispersed site is further from the park, roughly 45 minutes, but it’s completely free. It doesn’t have any amenities, so if you’re looking for a more rugged experience, this is the place to be. No reservations are needed to camp here. 

Coronado National Forest Molino Basin Campground
This spot is only 30 minutes away from the park’s visitor center and has all the basic necessities. Reservations are needed for this campground.
